The purpose of the Santa Cruz Archers is to foster, expand and perpetuate the practice of field and target archery and the spirit of good fellowship among all archers. Our range is located among the oak and redwood trees of the deLaveaga recreational area, in Santa Cruz, California. The SCA range is open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays, from noon to 4:00PM. Please see our calendar, classes and range directions pages for more information about our activities and how to find us. The range includes an indoor range, an outdoor sighting range and a field range with 2 loops. On the field range, children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Please see our guidelines for using the field range. The club hosts a variety of events, including regular indoor and outdoor clubshoots, novelty shoots, and our Stickbows in the Redwoods event twice a year. Club members are encouraged to read and understand the constitution, its by-laws and standing rules and to refer back to them when procedural details are in question.
