Santa Cruz Archers offers beginning and intermediate group archery classes through Santa Cruz Parks & Recreation. Classes are listed in the Activity Guide and are conducted on Thursday evenings.
The beginning class covers safety, warm-ups, and the fundamentals of consistent archery. There will also be plenty of time to practice and a mock tournament. When you complete the class, you will have enough information and skill to begin attending archery events around the bay area.
If you are under 14 years old, you must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Families are encouraged to enroll together.
Students should wear a relatively tight fitting shirt or top and dress for the weather.
Instructors are NADA Certified.
