Directions to the range: Click the map for range access maps and a map of DeLaveaga Park. Any map site on the web should provide directions to the Archery Gate using, 153 Brookwood Drive Santa Cruz, CA. Coming from Hwy 1 South (Watsonville) take the Morrissey Blvd. exit, and exit to the right (don't follow the overpass to the left). Turn right at the 4 way stop onto Morressey Blvd. Follow Morrissy parallel to Hwy 1 until it turns left. After Morrissey turns left, turn right at the stop sign opposite DeLaveaga Elementary school onto Prospect Heights. Once on Prospect Heights, follow the directions below. Coming from Hwy 1 North (Santa Cruz, San Jose, Hwy 17, etc.) take the Morrissey Blvd exit. Make a left at the stop sign, and a left at the light (Morrissey), to take you over the freeway. Follow this road as it curves down onto the freeway onramp back north, and take the first exit after the overpass you just went over. This will get you onto Rooney St., turn right. At the stop sign, Rooney turns into Morrissy St, follow Morrissy parallel to Hwy 1 until it turns left. After Morrissey turns left, turn right at the stop sign opposite DeLaveaga Elementary school onto Prospect Heights. Once on Prospect Heights, follow the directions below. From Soquel Ave in Santa Cruz turn North on La Fonda Ave and drive to the end. Turn right on Prospect Heights. Once on Prospect Heights, follow the directions below. Directions from Prospect Heights: Follow Prospect Heights to the end where it turns left. As the road turns left, it drops down and then continues left up the hill. At the left turn, Prospect Heights turns into Brookwood Drive. (Note: If you turn right on Brookwood Ave, before the road turns up the hill, you will find yourself on a one way road to Dominican Hospital and will have to start over. If that happens, turn right on Paul Sweet Road and go back to Soquel Ave and turn right. Follow Soquel to LaFonda and turn right.) At the end of the paved portion of Brookwood Drive, pass through the green gate. Turn right at the fork at the top of the hill then keep right. Follow the fire road down the hill and look for the road to flaten and then to widen out significantly to the left, that's the Archery range parking lot. Park and follow the signs from there.
