Upcoming Fun:
Annual Labor Day Fling and Feast
Santa Cruz Archers members and their guests are invited to a Labor Day Pot Luck Bar-B-Q on Monday, September 6. The range will be open for arrow flinging. Bring some meat for the grill (or a vegetarian black bean patty or two if you must) and a side dish big enough for your group plus a few. If there are enough folks to do the work, and there is ample energy to do so, we will set up a few 3D targets to punish. Contact Mark Thomas for information.

Bad Boys of Branciforte marked 3D shoot
The Bad Boys of Branciforte marked 3D shoot is coming to Santa Cruz Archers DeLaveaga Archery Range on October 3rd. Come ply your skills against 28 3D targets (a few of which have never before been seen). Don't forget to check your yardage marks for the Steel Deer who will be taunting archers somewhere in the vicinity of the picnic area. We will also have a nice lunch on the grill between around 11AM and 1PM for your enjoyment. Here's the Bad Boys of Branciforte flier and the map, pricing and pre-registration form (it's page 2 of the flier).

Santa Cruz Archers Mission
The club was founded May 10, 1968. The purpose of the Santa Cruz Archers is to foster, expand and perpetuate the practice of field and target archery and the spirit of good fellowship among all archers. To that end, we sponsor various archery events throughout the year and host regular "Introduction to Archery" classes.

Location
Our range is located among the oak and redwood trees of the DeLaveaga recreational area, in Santa Cruz, California. See our Directions page for maps leading to our archery range.
When you visit our range, park in the lot then walk up the road beyond the split-rail fence. The block building at the end of the road is our indoor range and club house, a few feet past the indoor range is our practice area. Our NFAA Certified outdoor range rambles through the redwoods and oaks beyond the practice range.

Hours
The SCA range is open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays, from noon to 4:00PM. Please see our "Calendar," "Learn Archery" and "Directions" pages for more information about our activities and how to find us. The range includes an indoor range, an outdoor sighting range and a field range with 2 loops. On the field range, children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Please see our guidelines for information on using the field range.

The club hosts a variety of events, including regular indoor and outdoor club shoots and indoor and outdoor novelty shoots.
