Welcome to the Santa Cruz Archers web site. We are in the process of updating the site, which has been dormant for the past few years.  Over the next few months we will be upgrading the various sections and including some new ones. If you have any suggestions for improvements or inclusions, please click on the webmaster link below.

The club was founded May 10, 1968. The purpose of the Santa Cruz Archers is to foster, expand and perpetuate the practice of field and target archery and the spirit of good fellowship among all archers. Our range is located among the oak and redwood trees of the deLaveaga recreational area, in Santa Cruz, California.

The SCA range is open to the public on saturdays and sundays, from noon to 4:00PM. Please see our calendar, classes and range directions pages for more information about our activities and how to find us. The range includes an indoor range, an outdoor sighting range and a field range with 2 loops. On the field range, children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Please see our guidelines for using the field range.

The club hosts a variety of events, including regular indoor and outdoor clubshoots, novelty shoots, and our Stickbows in the Redwoods event twice a year.

Santa Cruz Archers operations are based on our constitution. Club members are encouraged to read and understand the constitution, its by-laws and standing rules and to refer back to them when procedural details are in question. If you find problems with the document, please forward them to us and we will review them with the membership.

If you are a current club member and wish to request range keys, please click the link, print, fill out and sign the Santa Cruz Archers Key Agreement and bring it with you to a club meeting.
